Bassoonist Woo Ah Kim graduated from Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, and Seoul National University College of Music. She won first place in the 61st Dong-A Music Competition and the 34th Busan Music Competition, as well as first place in the Seoul National University Wind Instrument Competition, Yonsei University Wind Instrument Competition, and Uhyun Competition. She also achieved first place in the entire wind instrument division of the CBS Competition and received awards in numerous other competitions, including the KBS Hanjeon Music Competition and overseas dispatch competitions. During her time in school, she received multiple performance excellence awards at Seoul Arts High School, collaborated in the regular concerts of Seoul Arts High School in 2016 and 2017, won the gold medal in the Seoul Youth Chamber Music Competition, and first place in the wind instrument division of the Seoul Arts High School internal music competition. She held solo recitals and chamber concerts with Kumho Young Artist and Kumho Young Chamber, and collaborated with the Busan Philharmonic Orchestra. She has actively participated in various performances as a guest with the Tongyeong Festival Orchestra, KCO, Jeonju Chamber Music Festival, and Seocho Chamber Music Festival. Currently, she is pursuing a master's degree at the Seoul National University College of Music, and is active as a member of the Ensemble TIMF, principal of the Seoul Youth Orchestra, and principal of Orchestra Ensemble Seoul (OES).
